I was seriously considering not buying Lovegirl anything for Christmas. She doesn’t play with the toys she has now. Like most other kids her age, she prefers the box, the wrapping paper, the mixing bowls and spoons in the kitchen. She won’t remember right? Am I guaranteeing a therapist bill for her later in life by not buying her Christmas goodies now???
Hi, thanks for coming by my blog. I pronounce her name Ma-Ken-A. It all actuality, if i were to spell her name the way it is meant to be pronounced, it would have 2 Ns. Makenna…but I liked it with one N better. After she was born I found out that there is a Makena Beach in Hawaii. Love the way you pronounce your baby girl’s name. I never thought of any other way to pronunce her name.
As for the Christmas presents, tell me about it. The box it came in is all my baby needs too…lol
good luck with all of that. i can’t wait to have that problem!
@Angela — Thanks for dropping in! I’m thinking I should’ve gone with Ma-ken-a since that’s what everyone calls her anyway.
Your sweetie girl is too cute – loving those cheeks!
@Melyssa — It is indeed a wonderful problem to have! I cannot think of a greater blessing on this earth. Happy Holidays to you and yours!
I thought about starting a 3 gift rule for J since it’s his first xmas and then won’t know any diff but I couldn’t refrain myself from buying way too much stuff he’ll never need.
