Life Lesson #9320

If your daughter’s ends start looking a little ragged and you try to trim them yourself?  You will end up paying S.uperC.uts to correct the mess you made and your daughter will spend a great portion of the evening looking like the world’s shortest D.iana R.oss impersonator.

Not really sure why she chose to pose with a loaf of bread.....

    • Oh Aly – I am so glad to know I’m not alone! I was thinking “how hard could trimming her ends be?” Now I know – some things truly are best left to the pros. I will not be attempting that again :)

  1. That reminds me of the time I tried to cut my nephew’s hair and left him with a bald patch. LOL Had to take him to the barber shop to fix that mess I made.

    • Hah! My mom and I were laughing because she did the same thing to each one of my brothers. Why she didn’t learn her lesson after the first one, I’ll never know :)

      • Really I was shocked more than traumatized. I was like anybody can clip some ends – duh. Or not! Hmmm, you may be on to something with that. I kid you not – I said turn around so I can take your pic and she said wait, grabbed the bread and started cheesing! :)

    • Yeah, this little jazzy attitude is killing me! She wanted to wear her hair out the next day and I was tempted, but I thought it might be a ball of knots by the time I picked her up from school.

She is in braids most of the time, but I started clipping, realized I didn’t know what I was doing and stopped. I really needed the lady to even her up. Her hair is probably an inch, maybe inch and a half shorter than what it was. I didn’t want one side of pigtails to be past her shoulder and the other side chilling up by her ears. :)

      Smiles for all!
